The Pimmit Run Protectors have good news to share!
After an 18-month legal slog and strain on our community and households, we have achieved success in our efforts to save Parcel A — the three-acre open space bordering Woodacre Court, Grady Randall Court, and North River — from development for residential housing.
Specifically, we have reached an agreement to purchase the property and will now work toward preserving and protecting this invaluable community resource in perpetuity.
This is a significant accomplishment, but we need your help. We are raising six figures for the acquisition costs. If you have enjoyed hiking, dog walking, or access to Pimmit Run on or via Parcel A — or if you simply want to join in protecting precious forest space — your contribution is warmly welcomed.
Here is how you can donate:
1. Zelle to pimmitrunprotectors
2. Check made out to the Pimmit Run Protectors. We are willing to pick up in the neighborhood or you can drop off at 5845 Aspen Wood Ct.
For those who have already contributed to the cause, we thank you!
