According the National Weather Service, a dangerous, high-wind storm system is expected to impact our region today, Monday, March 16, bringing a Level 4 (Moderate) risk of severe weather between 1–7 p.m.
Forecasts indicate the potential for damaging winds, hail, and isolated tornadoes. The primary threat is strong wind gusts capable of toppling trees and power lines, which could lead to widespread power outages.
Please take precautions:
- Charge electronic devices fully before the storm.
- Secure or bring inside any loose outdoor items.
- If possible, move vehicles off the street and into garages or covered areas.
