Neighbors of Chesterbrook Woods,
We have all experienced numerous power outages the last few months at least two of which resulted from downed trees. The Board has a committee of volunteers who have been attempting to get Dominion Power to put our neighborhood on the list to bury our power cables. An attempt has been made through Dominion’s intermediary to make this request with no success so far.
There are a few reasons this is occurring. Without going into those details, the Committee plans to Petition Dominion with your help to put us on the list to bury our power cables. If there is to be any hope of success in this effort, we’ll need substantial participation in signing the petition. If you have reservations about the project please let one of the Committee members know and they will address your thoughts or seek an answer.
The Committee is asking you to sign the signature page of the petition. It will be attached to a couple of committee member’s mailboxes. See addresses below. Please include your address when signing. They’ll need your personal signature for the petition to be legitimate. If you are unable to come by let one of them know and they’ll make alternate arrangements.
