Mark the day! August 22nd, 10-12 p.m. for a day to share energy and environmental initiatives. Is solar a good investment? Who is planting natives? How are we caretakers for our environment? What programs does the county offer to help? Join us for Chesterbrook Woods Environmental Community Day on Saturday August 22* from 10 am – Noon! Learn more about solar installation including battery storage–helpful for our multiple power outages. Learn about native plants that thrive in our area as well as invasives mitigation. Talk to county reps about tree and rainwater management programs. And, most important, connect with neighbors and buy a little lemonade from the next generation of Chesterbrook residents. Look for more details as we get closer to the event!
