Dear Chesterbrook Woods Residents-
Please join us this Saturday, August 22nd* from 10 am -12 noon to catch up with neighbors, enjoy some lemonade and get your questions answered about energy and environmental initiatives. Is solar a good investment? How do I know what native plants or trees to plant? How are we caretakers for our environment? What programs and resources does the county have to help?
The experts will be on Calla Drive and Forest Lane. Come for a tour of solar and battery storage (5900 Calla) at 10 am, 10:30, 11 or 11:30. Talk to a coach from goelectricdmv.org for ideas on boosting your home’s energy efficiency. If you’ve wondered how a heat-pump works, now’s the time to get your questions answered!
Have questions about native plants and trees? Get answers from the master gardners and county experts along Calla, and check out the landscape conservation beds and new trees at 1508 Forest (on the gravel road) just down the street from Calla and Forest.
This is a great chance to connect with neighbors, buy lemonade from the next generation of Chesterbrook residents and learn more about caring for our earth.
Best Regards,
CWCA Environmental Committee
