Dear Chesterbrook Woods Neighbors,
The countdown is on for our annual Oktoberfest/Halloween party on Sunday, October 25th from 3-6pm at the Laburnum Street Cul-de-Sac! We can’t wait to celebrate with you. Join us for Halloween spirit and Oktoberfest tradition — complete with games and activities, creative crafts, a kids’ costume parade, live entertainment, and refreshments for kids and adults! Costumes are encouraged for all ages.
Two Days Left To RSVP (the 18th) so we can finalize our catering order with Mission BBQ!
We Need Volunteer Help!
Thank you if you have already signed up to volunteer! We still need more volunteers, both adults and middle & high school students. You’ll be organized by shift so you can also enjoy the party. And we need folks to sign up to lend items like Folding tables & chairs, Coolers and Extension Cords.
Sign up to volunteer or lend an item here.
What to Expect:
- Food catered by Mission BBQ including vegetarian options
- Drinks (including adult beverages)
- Halloween games, crafts & face painting
- Kids costume parade at 4pm
- Moonbounce, music, and more!
- The Undergrounding Task Force will be present to answer questions and collect signatures for the petition
What to Bring:
- A dessert or side dish to share or water or juice boxes (voluntary)
- Annual Dues payment ($40; more details to be provided in our next CW email)
- $10 per adult to defray party expenses (voluntary)
We look forward to seeing you at the party!
