Dear Chesterbrook Woods Neighbors,
Our annual Oktoberfest/Halloween party is this Sunday, October 25th, from 3-6pm at the Laburnum Street Cul-de-Sac! Everyone is welcome, even if you didn’t RSVP. Just come on by, catch up with neighbors new and old, and enjoy the fun. Costumes are encouraged for all ages!
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
This party only happens because neighbors pitch in, and we still need more volunteers, both adults and middle & high school students who need service hours. Shifts are just 45 minutes, so you’ll still have plenty of time to enjoy the party. Thank you if you’ve already signed up!
We also need neighbors to lend us a few items:
* Folding tables & chairs
* Coolers
* Extension cords
Sign up to volunteer or lend an item here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0D44A8AE28A7F5C61-66810359-cwca#/
What to Expect:
* Food catered by Mission BBQ, including vegetarian options
* Captain Cookie and the Milk Man Truck (sponsored by Attend Outdoors)
* Drinks (including adult beverages)
* Halloween games, crafts & face painting
* Kids costume parade at 4pm
* Moonbounce, music, and more!
* The Undergrounding Task Force will be present to answer questions and collect signatures for the petition to put our power lines underground.
What to Bring:
* A dessert or side dish to share, or water or juice boxes (voluntary)
* Annual Dues payment ($40)
* $10 per adult to defray party expenses (voluntary)
We look forward to seeing you at the party!
